Summer Classes 

​Core Math – iLearn Academy's summer math program prepares participants for the upcoming school year. Students who take core math during the summer have an easier transition into the fall semester. Our accelerated courses in Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Geometry help students get ahead of their peers before school starts. Our curriculum is aligned to the Common Core standards, and we utilize the curricula and materials used in your student's classroom. However, our program emphasizes authentic learning – students solve problems and understand answers through demonstration and practice. 

​ACT/SAT/PSAT 8-9 Test Prep – iLearn Academy's summer test prep courses are the best way to prepare for standardized tests, including the ACT, SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 8-9, TerraNova, MAP, and PARCC. We've spent years perfecting our curriculum and gathering an unrivaled collection of mock tests and practice materials. That, along with our expert instructors, helps our students gain an average of 6 points on the ACT and 200 points on the SAT. Weave a test prep course into your student's summer schedule to reduce school-year stress and maximize scores.

​English – Summer break is the perfect time to strengthen reading and writing skills. Our English classes offer reading material in a variety of genres, engaging writing and discussion prompts, rigorous vocabulary-building, and a comprehensive overview of essential grammar concepts. Students broaden their minds and build critical thinking skills by examining the themes and historical contexts of literary works. They also work through a personalized writing curriculum that targets their areas for improvement. Our English courses are crafted to boost grades and standardized test scores.

​Science – From elementary science to AP Chemistry, Biology and Physics, our science classes encourage curiosity and build problem-solving skills. For grades 4-8, each summer science class revolves around a thematic unit that students explore throughout the program. (Last year, it was tornadoes!) This year, our theme will be behavioral science - why do people make the choices they make? What can science tell us about the human brain? Is our behavior determined by DNA, upbringing, or both? Are we responsible for the decisions we make? This curriculum will be aligned with our English thematic unit - join us as we use the scientific method to examine some of life's big questions!
