Pre-ACT Secure and Pre-ACT 9 Secure

Designed for 9th & 10th graders who want to build early ACT readiness, these tests are typically administered in March and April. Our preparation course includes:

Math: Comprehensive review of algebra, geometry, and essential problem-solving strategies
Reading & English: Practice in analyzing passages, identifying main ideas, making inferences, applying grammar rules, and improving sentence clarity
Science: Strategies for interpreting data, evaluating scientific information, and analyzing experiments across biology, chemistry, physics, and Earth/space sciences

Students gain strong test-taking skills, reinforce core academic knowledge, and build the confidence needed for success on the ACT and future college entrance exams.

Pre-ACT 8/9

Pre-ACT 8/9 Tailored for 8th grade students. Used by many schools to guide placement in high school courses—especially math and honors-level tracks—the Pre-ACT 8/9 measures foundational academic skills while introducing students to the ACT format. It covers four subject areas at a middle school difficulty level:

English: Grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and rhetorical skills
Math: Pre-algebra, basic algebra, and geometry concepts
Reading: Comprehension, identifying main ideas, making inferences, and analyzing details
Science: Interpreting graphs, tables, and data; evaluating scientific information; and reasoning through experiments in biology, chemistry, physics, and Earth/space sciences

This early exposure to ACT-style questions, timing, and structure helps students reduce test-day anxiety and develop effective strategies well before high-stakes testing in high school. Students gain both test readiness and academic confidence for 8th grade and beyond. LEARN MORE

High School Placement Test (HSPT)

iLearn Academy's High School Placement Test (HSPT) Program is designed to help 8th grade students excel on entrance exams required by many private and college-preparatory high schools. Our program focuses on:

strengthening core skills in math, reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and test-taking strategies.
Students receive individualized instruction, take practice tests, and receive detailed feedback to target areas of improvement—ensuring they are fully prepared and confident on test day.
